Gold and Polished Silver Mokume

This ring has an inlay of 22 karat yellow gold and sterling silver mixed in a random pattern.  Mokume Gane is Japanese for wood eye metal and is an ancient technique used in swordmaking. The silver is kept bright here, so has a more subtle look.  The ring shown is 7mm in width, and has a polished finish.
