White Gold and Silver Mokume

This ring has an inlay of white gold and sterling silver mixed in a random pattern.  Mokume Gane is Japanese for wood grain metal and is an ancient technique used in swordmaking. The silver oxidized to a black color, and the white gold remains a slightly yellow white.  The ring shown is 7mm in width, and has a polished finish.
