White Gold and Silver Brushed Mokume

This ring has an inlay of white gold and sterling silver mixed in a random pattern.  Mokume Gane is Japanese for wood grain metal and is an ancient technique used in swordmaking. The silver is not oxidized here, so the metals can take on a brushed finish.  The white gold stays whiter this way. The ring shown is 7mm in width, and has a brushed finish.
